Project Overview
Our client had a vision for a bathroom that was both vibrant and sophisticated. The brief was for something beyond the normal palette—something that would be expressive yet timeless. Terrazzo was the hero material, chosen for character, texture, and the power to pull a space together without dominating it.
What We Delivered
- Feature Terrazzo Wall & Flooring – We used understated colour accents on terrazzo tiles across the floor and feature walls, adding a visual point of interest and enhancing the aesthetic of the room. Tone contrast brings energy without compromising balance.
- Floating Vanity & Streamlined Design – We used a plain matte white floating vanity to achieve considerable storage without adding to the busier design of the terrazzo. The minimal design kept the space open and modern.
- Walk-In Shower with Contrasting Fixtures – The walk-in shower featured matte black fixtures that created a dramatic contrast to terrazzo and reflected the space’s contemporary mood.
- Integrated Lighting – Warm LED backlighting was implemented behind the mirror and under the vanity, creating a soft, ambient glow perfect for morning routine or unwinding at night.
- Effortless Harmony – Despite the audacity of the terrazzo, careful material pairings and clever layout choices created a serene, rather than frantic, finish. This bathroom is as inviting as it is cutting-edge.
